What is the Kiloview N30?
The N30 is a one-way 12G-SDI to Full NDI converter for broadcast cameras. Where the N50 is bidirectional, the N30 is a fixed-function encoder — it receives 12G-SDI camera signals and outputs Full NDI to the production network. The straightforward choice for 4K broadcast camera positions that need NDI encoding with no decode requirement at that position.
One-way vs bidirectional
The N30 is simpler and more cost-effective than the N50 (bidirectional) for positions where only encoding is required. If the camera position also needs to receive a return feed or other NDI source as SDI output, the N50 or a separate decoder is required.

N30 vs N50?
N30 is encode-only (SDI to NDI). N50 is bidirectional. If the position only needs to send the camera to the NDI network, N30 is correct. If a return feed as SDI output is also needed, N50 is required.
