What is the Kiloview N2?
The N2 is a wireless HDMI to NDI encoder — it converts an HDMI camera to Full NDI over Wi-Fi, eliminating the need for an Ethernet cable run to each camera position. For cameras in locations where cable runs are impractical — ceiling-mounted PTZ cameras, cameras on structures, temporary event setups — the N2 provides NDI connectivity over the existing wireless network.
It supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, with 5GHz preferred for NDI production use. Gigabit Ethernet is also present for locations where wired connectivity is available.
Wi-Fi NDI considerations
NDI HX (5-30 Mbps) is practical over 5GHz 802.11ac Wi-Fi with a good access point. Full NDI (100-250 Mbps) requires excellent 5GHz conditions. For critical production, wired Ethernet is always more reliable. The N2 is best suited where wired installation is impractical and NDI HX quality is acceptable.

Is Wi-Fi reliable enough for NDI production?
