What is the Magewell Pro Convert Audio DX?
The Magewell Pro Convert Audio DX is the advanced multi-channel version of the Magewell Pro Convert AES67 audio converter range. Where the Pro Convert AES67 handles the fundamental conversion between analogue/AES/EBU audio and AES67 IP audio, the Audio DX provides expanded channel count and more sophisticated routing and processing capabilities for environments with complex, multi-channel audio requirements.
It is designed for broadcast facilities, large live production environments and enterprise AV systems where more than two channels of audio conversion are required simultaneously, and where audio routing flexibility — the ability to assign input channels to different output destinations — is a system requirement.
When to choose the Audio DX over the AES67
Choose the Pro Convert AES67 for straightforward two-channel or stereo conversion between analogue/AES/EBU and AES67 IP audio. Choose the Pro Convert Audio DX when the environment requires more audio channels, more complex routing between those channels, or processing capabilities beyond simple conversion.
