The Magewell Pro Convert IP to USB solves a specific problem: getting professional NDI or SRT video sources into video conferencing and streaming applications that only accept USB cameras. Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, OBS Studio, Streamyard and virtually every consumer and professional application that uses cameras accepts USB UVC devices — and the IP to USB decoder appears as exactly that.
An NDI PTZ camera, a vMix output, a Pro Convert encoder feed or any SRT contribution stream can be received and presented to any application on the connected computer as a standard webcam input.
The UVC Bridge
The USB UVC standard means no driver installation is required. Connect the IP to USB decoder to the computer via USB, select an NDI or SRT source in the web interface, and the source immediately appears as a camera in every application on that computer. This works on Windows, macOS and Linux without any additional software.
