The Magewell Pro Convert NDI to HDMI 4K decodes 4K NDI streams to HDMI 2.0 at up to 3840×2160 @ 60fps — the 4K equivalent of the Pro Convert NDI to HDMI. As 4K NDI production becomes the standard for high-end facilities, 4K display infrastructure needs to receive these feeds, and the NDI to HDMI 4K is the decoder that bridges 4K NDI to physical 4K HDMI displays.
Director monitors, colour grading reference displays, 4K confidence monitors and client viewing screens in 4K NDI production environments all receive their 4K programme feeds via the NDI to HDMI 4K decoder.
4K Monitoring Infrastructure
In a 4K NDI facility, every 4K monitoring position requires a 4K HDMI decoder. The PoE power option makes this practical — a single Ethernet cable to each 4K display position delivers both the 4K NDI stream and power. No HDMI cable infrastructure between a central routing point and each display is required.
