Standalone SDI to IP Encoding
The Magewell Ultra Encode SDI encodes 3G-SDI broadcast cameras and sources directly to IP streaming protocols without a PC. In broadcast environments where SDI is the standard camera output, the Ultra Encode SDI provides a standalone bridge to SRT contribution, RTMP streaming platforms and NDI production networks — all simultaneously from a single SDI input.
The fanless design makes it suitable for permanent studio installation alongside SDI cameras without generating noise or requiring cooling maintenance. SDI format is automatically detected across SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI.
SDI Cameras to NDI and the Internet
The Ultra Encode SDI simultaneously outputs Full NDI on the local network and streams via SRT, RTMP and HLS to external destinations. This makes a single SDI camera available to local production systems as an NDI source and to online platforms via RTMP — without any additional software or hardware beyond the encoder itself.
