Dual Broadcast SDI from One PCIe Slot
The Magewell Pro Capture Dual SDI places two independent 3G-SDI capture channels on a single PCIe x1 card. In broadcast environments where SDI is the signal standard of every camera, switcher and infrastructure component, having two SDI capture channels permanently inside a workstation or server is the fundamental requirement for multi-source ingest.
Both SDI channels are independently active and simultaneously available. Each captures at up to 1080p60 from any SD-SDI, HD-SDI or 3G-SDI source — a camera, a production switcher output, an ISO feed from a broadcast router, or a confidence output from a playout system. The Magewell SDK provides frame-synchronised access to both channels for applications requiring precise timing across two SDI sources.
