HDMI Cameras into NDI Networks
The Magewell Pro Convert HDMI Plus bridges the gap between HDMI cameras and IP production infrastructure. Connect any HDMI source — a PTZ camera, a DSLR, a presentation laptop, a video conferencing codec or a production switcher HDMI output — and the device delivers a Full NDI stream to the network that any NDI application can receive instantly.
In NDI-based production environments, the Pro Convert HDMI Plus is the standard way to bring HDMI cameras into the workflow. vMix receives them as NDI sources. OBS with the NDI plugin receives them. Wirecast, NDI Monitor, Vizrt and any NDI-capable switcher or monitor sees them as network cameras — all from a single compact device connected to the camera HDMI output and the Ethernet network.
Simultaneous NDI, SRT and RTMP
The Pro Convert HDMI Plus does not force a choice between local NDI distribution and cloud streaming. Both happen simultaneously from the same HDMI source — Full NDI for local production applications and SRT or RTMP for cloud platforms, CDNs and internet distribution.
This makes it the complete solution for hybrid productions where the same camera feeds both an on-site NDI production system and a simultaneous internet stream. One device, one HDMI connection, multiple simultaneous outputs.
